Lincoln County has a lot of ground in exactly that window. The 2022 farm census counted 552 farms here, and 296 of them sit on 10 to 49 acres. Tracts that size change hands, and the new owner often has no tractor. We bring ours, cut the field and leave it walkable.
A bush hog handles grass, briar, broomsedge and saplings up to about wrist size. It cuts fast and cheap, and on a maintained field it is all you ever need. Fence lines, pond banks and the strips a farm tractor cannot reach safely are the same class of work for us.
Past that size, a rotary cutter beats the brush instead of cutting it. Standing pine and sweetgum with a few years on them call for forestry mulching, which grinds the whole stem to the ground. We look at the field and tell you which machine the growth actually needs, before any work starts. A single big tree over a fence line is tree removal in Lincolnton, and we handle that too.
Hunting tracts in the county corners stay useful when the open ground stays open. We mow fields on hunting land, cut shooting lanes and keep food plot edges from closing in. Fall mowing ahead of the season is a regular route for us, and spring cuts knock the first flush back.
The other steady call is the notice letter. A town or county wants an overgrown lot cut, and the owner needs it handled without renting equipment. We take those in Lincolnton and the towns around it. This is acreage and field work, not lawn care, so we do not mow yards.
