LDS Solutions is a veteran-owned land clearing company based in Shelby, North Carolina. Dewey Smith served in the military, wore a badge after that, and started this company to work for himself and his family. The discipline came with him. Show up when you said you would, run the machine like you own it, and leave the ground better than you found it.
The work is everything Piedmont land needs: land clearing, forestry mulching, bush hogging, tree removal, stump grinding, grading, excavation, demolition and debris haul-off. We run our own fleet, from the tracked mulcher and skid steers to excavators, a dozer and grapple trucks. The machines in the photos on this site are ours, on real jobs around Cleveland County.

We look at the ground, the growth and the access in person. You get a real number and a plan before any machine moves.
Our own equipment rides in on our lowboy. Most residential jobs run one to three days, and you see progress the first morning.
Debris is mulched or hauled off and the ground is left ready to use. We look the job over with you before we leave.
